Houser's best known nude figure, it replicates the tonalities of the black marble from which it was cast. Copyrighted in 1987, it has been exhibited widely in gallery and museum exhibitions, and is beautifully reproduced in the 2004 Harry N. Abrams biography. A limited few castings remain from this important edition.
