The artwork featured on the shirt is inspired by Allan Houser’s early muralist period and reflects the expressive style he developed while creating his landmark 1938 mural, Breaking Camp, at the U.S. Department of the Interior Building in Washington, D.C. Long before Allan Houser became celebrated for his monumental bronzes and stone sculptures, his paintings and murals established the graceful movement and timeless figures that would define his artistic legacy.
