This summer, Allan Houser’s Desert Flower has found a remarkable setting at the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival, where it welcomes audiences to one of the nation’s premier celebrations of classical music. From July 19 through August 24, the Festival presents more than 40 world-class concerts, solo recitals, and special lecture events, bringing internationally acclaimed musicians to the heart of Santa Fe.
Graceful and timeless, Desert Flower offers a quiet visual counterpoint to the festival’s extraordinary performances. Houser’s elegant bronze reflects the same qualities found in great music—balance, harmony, emotion, and enduring beauty—creating a meaningful dialogue between sculpture and sound.
We are honored that Desert Flower is part of this celebrated cultural tradition, where two art forms come together to enrich the experience of audiences from around the world.
