Allan Houser is recognized worldwide for his sculpture. Working in bronze, marble, and other stone, he created pieces ranging from intimate tabletop forms to monumental installations placed at the United Nations, the Smithsonian, and the U.S. Capitol.

His three-dimensional work is defined by balance and restraint. Standing figures, mother and child compositions, and ceremonial subjects rooted in Apache tradition recur across decades of work, each one shaped by the same discipline: say what needs to be said, and nothing more. The material serves the meaning.

Monumental and smaller-scale sculptures are available for acquisition through the downtown Santa Fe gallery, and major works can be experienced in their intended setting at the Allan Houser Sculpture Garden.
